THE STUDIO

Riga Computing Company

We make software for the six people who can walk into your room unannounced.

Most software is written for organizations: colleagues, tenants, seats, licenses. The people you actually live with get the leftovers. We think the household deserves tools of the same quality, built with less data, not more. Our first work is Doorby, a presence system that tells your household when you're on a call.

SEC. 01Principles
P·1

One thing at a time

A product ships when it does its single job reliably. Features are judged by whether they blur that job, and most of them do.

P·2

Boolean-sized payloads

We collect the minimum that makes the product work, then stop. If the whole dataset fits in one sentence, the privacy policy can too.

P·3

Consent per person

Sharing with a partner and sharing with a parent are different decisions. Every connection carries its own permissions, and saying no never tells on you.

P·4

Established taste

Type, rules, and restraint over gradients and novelty. Good design has been solved before; we would rather inherit it than reinvent it.
