PocketWiki keeps the article prose, section hierarchy, useful links, and a small set of substantial images. The browser furniture stays behind.

No embedded browser. Touch targets, type sizes, refreshes, and page turns are handled directly through InkView.

A page has an ending

Articles are measured and paginated for the display. Use the lower hardware keys, screen edges, or footer arrows.

Follow underlined links, walk back through article history, or long-press a link to save its target for later.

Saved articles remain readable without a connection. A separate Later queue holds the next thread you want to pull.

There is no advertising, analytics, profile, or cloud library. PocketWiki stores only what its reader needs.
SEC. 04Installation

Put PocketWiki in your pocket.

PocketWiki is open-source software for the PocketBook Verse Pro. Build the application with the pinned PocketBook SDK, then copy one file to the reader.

Get the source

Clone the repository from GitHub. The build and SDK versions are already pinned.

Build the app

Run make build with Docker or OrbStack available.

Connect by USB

Choose PC link on the PocketBook and open its applications directory.

Copy and read

Copy PocketWiki.app, eject safely, and open it from Apps.

Compatibility note Designed around the PocketBook Verse Pro (PB634), 1072 × 1448. PocketBook does not publish a stable third-party application ABI, so a fresh build should be tried on the actual device, particularly after firmware updates.
